COP9 forms can only be used until 30 June 2008 as part of the transitional arrangements put in place by the OPG.

Since 1 October 2007, deputies who were already receivers at that date, have had to use a formal process to get approval to expenditure not covered within the terms of their Order.

To ensure that deputies were not disadvantaged by this process, transitional arrangements were put in place whereby they could seek formal authority from the Court for most general matters without having to pay a fee, by using a COP9 form.  These transitional arrangements come to an end on 30 June 2008 and all applications after that date must be submitted on a COP1 form and will attract a £400 fee.

The COP9 form can continue to be used in a variety of circumstances and must be used for applications within proceedings.applications within proceedings.
