The first Annual General Meeting of the Public Guardian Board

The Public Guardian Board is an independent body set up to scrutinise and review the way in which the Public Guardian discharges his functions.

(The Public Guardian is supported by the Office of the Public Guardian and is responsible for a range of services that help protect people who lack the mental capacity to make their own decisions.)

The Board is holding its first annual public meeting in central London on 7 October 2008, and would like to invite members of the public who have an interest in the work of the Public Guardian and his Office, to share their views about these services.

Places at the meeting are limited, if you would like to attend, please contact the meeting organiser as soon as possible.
